Yup, Blackboard brought back a thing that had been removed in Ultra.
Care to guess what it is? (Some of you asked me about it a while back)

Yup, it’s the conditional release (in original) or release condition (in Ultra) based on submission.
For those of you keeping track, release conditions in Ultra were grade or date. The option to release based on submission only (irrespective of grades) had been taken away, much to my dismay.
But now it’s back.
In set your visibility settings for the item you want to conditionally release to “release conditions”:

Then, create a new release rule based on performance:

Then select the item whose condition will trigger the release and then, under requirement, select “attempt submitted”.

Fun fact: this does not work in development shells. You only have access to this feature in live shells. Don’t ask me why. I’m just happy it’s back.
This has been another edition of “wow, Anthology actually listens to users.”
